Deer Proofing Nature supplies a product that deters the browsing of vegetation by deer and damage by brown hares.

For the forestry industry the product – “Silvakol” – is precisely formulated to prevent deer browsing and damage by brown hare to tree saplings, new shoots and palatable leaves and coppice regeneration.

The product can be bought in a sprayable formula that will cover a large number of young trees, ideal for plantations and new hedgerows.

A paste formula is also available with added soil improving “dolomites” that is wiped or brushed on to the larger specimen trees, or other domestic treatments.

Silvakol has been produced so that there is no harmful agent that will adversely affect the natural environment and in no way is harmful to human health.

It has been passed by the national ministry for forestry of Poland for use throughout its estate and has undergone rigorous approval procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards. Ingredient information can be supplied on request from Deer Proofing Nature.
